I earned my degree in Clinical Social Work from Highlands University in 2016. In 2014, I completed a dual degree in Art Education and Studio Arts from the University of New Mexico. Additionally, I graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 2022 with a Master’s in Business Administration.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, traveling, taking walks, creating art, practicing yoga, dancing, and meditating.
I am passionate about helping teens and adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, art therapy techniques, and systemic approaches while maintaining a level of trauma-focused care. I am certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories to assist clients in relief from trauma symptoms. My approach ensures a level of trauma-focused care, aiming to support individuals in managing their lives and achieving mental health stability.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor, who specializes in treating individuals with a history of sexual trauma, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, women's therapy, LGBT, dual diagnosis, bereavement, substance abuse, domestic violence, schizophrenia, ADD/ADHD, autism, eating disorders, self harm, and body dysmorphic disorder. I treat individuals ages 5 and up. I am certified in dialectical behavioral therapy and utilize art therapy, CBT, and holistic treatment modalities. I conduct individual, marriage, family, and group therapy. I have also worked as a dance instructor in Albuquerque, New Mexico metro area. I have taught classes in tap, hip hop, jazz, and ballet. I have worked with many talented dance schools in the Albuquerque area including Lana's School of Dance, Dance Dimensions, and Elite Dance Studio. I have been privileged to work with Teatro Nuevo Mexico and Del Norte High School.

I am a dedicated therapist who provides individual and group therapy services grounded in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Attachment-Based Therapy, ACT, DBT, CBT, Narrative Therapy and Written Exposure Therapy. With a focus on meeting clients where they are, I empower individuals to engage in the therapeutic process and achieve their personal goals. I also specialize in group facilitation, including Therapeutic Gaming and CRAFT, fostering meaningful connections and growth.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work with a clinical concentration from New Mexico Highlands University. With ongoing professional development in areas such as Polyvagal Theory, Motivational Interviewing, and Neuroscience, I am committed to providing evidence-based and client-centered care.

Since earning my Clinical Social Work degree in 2023, I have supported adults coping with emotional and mood challenges, childhood and complex trauma, fear of abandonment, borderline personality disorder (BPD) traits, relationship issues, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) such as dermatillomania (skin picking), among others.
I offer EMDR not only for trauma, anxiety, grief, and adult attachment, but also for strengthening resilience and rehearsing future moments—helping you move toward deeper clarity and lasting change. Depending on your goals, our work may incorporate self-compassion practices, Written Exposure Therapy (WET) for traumatic experiences, guided imagery, parts work, and humor, always with a focus on emotional safety and trust.
For couples, I am Core Skills Trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach grounded in attachment science.
My approach is shaped by a 30-year research career, most recently in VA mental health—so our work together will be rooted in what the evidence shows works.

I am a Community Support Worker with extensive experience working with "at-risk" youth and adults in need. I have a background in mentoring teens and young adults to help them obtain education, training, housing, insurance, and to achieve financial goals. I am passionate about helping others to succeed in their lives.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, working out, soccer, and hunting.

I originally went to New Mexico State University (NMSU) for my undergraduate degrees, earning a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a BA in Anthropology. I graduated with my Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management in 2016. After spending time in the nonprofit and public sectors, I’m back at NMSU studying for my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, graduating in 2027. With my experience, I hope to continue helping my communities have meaningful and fulfilling lives. Specifically, I’m hoping to work with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples as well as those who have experienced domestic violence.
I enjoy crafts like quilting and collage and spending time with my dog Uhura, named after the Star Trek character, and my cat Julio, named after the musician Julio Iglesias.
